Contractual Basis:
These General Online Sales Conditions are agreed upon between the company Macedos Pyrotechnics, Ltd., headquartered at 182 Padre José Pereira dos Santos Street, tax identification number 504 446 592, and any individual, non-trading, who wishes to make a purchase through the Online Store available on the website at http://store.macedos.com.pt.
Understood as:
o Macedos Pyrotechnics, Ltd.: Macedos Pyrotechnics, Ltd., headquartered at 182 Padre José Pereira dos Santos Street, 4615-454 Santão Lixa, Portugal, tax identification number 504 446 592;
o General Conditions: these General Online Sales Conditions;
o User: the Customer who uses the Online Store website, registering their profile;
o Customer: the individual or legal entity who wishes to make a purchase on the Online Store;
o Online Store: the virtual shopping store available on the website at http://store.macedos.com.pt
o Parties: Macedos Pyrotechnics, Ltd. and the Customer or User.
All relationships between Macedos Pyrotechnics, Ltd. and the Customer and/or User will be exclusively regulated by these General Conditions.

These General Conditions regulate the general online sale conditions, including User and/or Customer registration, product and price availability, orders, payment methods, delivery conditions, returns, and product warranties.
Terms and Conditions
The pyrotechnic articles for sale on the website store.macedos.com.pt are for sale only to individuals over 18 years of age, even if the usage instructions and applicable national legislation may allow the sale of some articles to individuals over 16 years of age.
By making a purchase on the website store.macedos.com.pt, the Customer expressly assumes and declares that they are over 18 years of age.
Pyrotechnic products, categories F1, F2, and F3, are considered for free use and sale in private spaces, in accordance with DL 34/2010.
Pyrotechnic articles include instructions for use and safety rules to be followed, which may be subject to usage restrictions depending on the intended usage location.
In case of doubt about the possibility of use in public places, we advise you to inquire in advance with the local authorities.
Never use pyrotechnic articles indoors.

In the event of a typographical error in the presentation/description/price of the products, the Customer has the right to cancel the purchase and sale contract under the applicable legal terms. Similarly, Macedos Pyrotechnics, Ltd. has the right to propose changes to the order if the error harms the company.
NOTE: The colors displayed on computers depend on various factors such as monitor resolution and color temperature settings, so the actual color of the product may not be the same as the color shown in the photograph. However, we always strive to provide photographs on the product page with the utmost accuracy.
The catalog of products on the online store store.macedos.com.pt is independent of physical stores, both in terms of prices and stock.
Marketing
All promotional campaigns have limited stock and may be exclusive for online sales. In case of product unavailability and/or out-of-stock, the Customer will be informed of the partial or total cancellation of their order with the right to a refund of the respective amount paid.
All promotional codes offered by store.macedos.com.pt are automatically applied in the shopping cart, according to the conditions of each campaign. Therefore, all returns and exchanges resulting from these purchases with a discount will be based on the final invoiced amount, not the actual value of the items in the order.
Placing Online Orders
To place an order on store.macedos.com.pt, follow these steps:
1- Browse the pages of the online store and find the items you want to purchase;
2- Add your preferred items to the shopping cart using the "Add to Cart" button, always choosing the size in advance;
3- When you're ready to complete your order, go to your "shopping cart" (by clicking on it) and then click "Checkout";
3.1- If you have a promotional coupon code to use, enter the code and click "Apply."
4- In the "Checkout Method," if you are not a "Registered Customer" yet, you can choose to register or complete the purchase without registering. If you are a registered user, you can log in to your Customer Area;
5- Then, fill in all your information requested in the "Billing Information" form;
5.1- Choose from 3 shipping options: "Same Billing Address," "Different Billing Address," or "In-Store Pickup."
6- If you have chosen "Different Billing Address," set your "Shipping Address."
7- Select the "Shipping Method" you want;
8- Select the "Payment Method";
9- Confirm all the details of your order and click "Checkout";
10- Wait for the message "Your purchase was successful!"
After completing the purchase, you will receive an email confirming your order. If you do not see the email, check your "Spam" folder. If the problem persists, Important: To ensure the availability of the items in your order, you must make the payment within 24 hours. The shipping process begins only after payment confirmation.
If the information is incorrect or you wish to change your order, you can immediately request changes or even cancel your purchase through our Customer Support.
Under the terms of Law 7/2004 of January 7, related to electronic commerce, Macedos Pyrotechnics, Ltd. reserves the right to unilaterally cancel the order whenever a programming error, computer malfunction, or if the contractual proposal arrives distorted at its destination due to an essential element of the contract.
Shipping
Pyrotechnic articles of free sale, categories F1, F2, and F3:
The shipping of ordered pyrotechnic articles on store.macedos.com.pt is done for mainland Portugal, Madeira Island, Terceira Island, and São Miguel Island. Shipping orders to other regions are not yet possible due to legislation that requires prior authorization for the export of pyrotechnic articles.
We reserve the right not to send pyrotechnic material in case of an abnormal situation, and in that case, we will contact you to clarify any issues that may arise.
Shipping costs are governed by the following information:
Mainland Portugal - Deliveries are made only from Thursday to Friday.
Madeira Island - Deliveries are made only from Thursday to Friday.
São Miguel Island - Deliveries are made only from Thursday to Friday.
Terceira Island - Deliveries are made only from Thursday to Friday.
Clothing Items:
Orders are delivered by CTT.
If the customer is not at the indicated address, the order must be picked up at the nearest post office.
We will make every effort to deliver the goods within the estimated timeframes. However, occasional delays are unavoidable due to unforeseen factors or events beyond our control. Macedos Pyrotechnics, Ltd. will not be responsible for any delay or failure to deliver products within the estimated timeframes.
The risk of loss and damage to the products becomes the customer's responsibility on the day the products are delivered to the recipient.
The postage value is clearly detailed on the invoice that accompanies the order.
PORTUGAL
Land Shipments - Guaranteed delivery within 24 to 72 working hours for shipments to mainland Portugal. Air Shipments - Guaranteed delivery within 2 to 4 business days in the Madeira and Azores Regions.
For orders with more than 5 items or with a weight greater than 5 kg, an additional shipping fee may apply. This condition only applies to air shipments to the islands using the EMS 18 shipping method.
Sea Shipments - Guaranteed delivery within 3 to 16 business days in the Madeira and Azores Regions.
NOTES
1- Orders with more than 5 items or a weight greater than 5 kg may be subject to an additional shipping fee. This condition only applies to shipments outside of mainland Portugal.
2- Any delay in shipping items beyond the estimated dates presented does not entitle the customer to compensation.
3- After the order is shipped from our warehouses, the responsibility for the order is transferred to the transport company.
4- Shipping to P.O. boxes is not possible.
5- Shipping costs may be changed at any time without notice. In any case, the shipping costs that appear at the time of placing the order will be valid.
Prices and Payment
The prices of all products listed on our website store.macedos.com.pt are presented in euros, including taxes. Any changes to the applicable VAT rate will have an immediate impact on product prices. However, Macedos Pyrotechnics, Ltd. reserves the right to change prices at any time. The prices practiced in the online store are independent of our physical stores.
Macedos Pyrotechnics, Ltd. accepts payments by the following methods: MultiBanco and PayPal.
MultiBanco Reference
The website will send an entity, a reference, and the amount of your order to your email, which you can pay at any ATM or through online banking;
Orders with payment by MultiBanco Reference are automatically canceled if not paid within 8 hours; Payments via MultiBanco Reference do not require sending of proofs;
Macedos Pyrotechnics, Ltd. recommends this payment method for online orders due to its convenience and faster processing.
MB WAY
With MB WAY, you can pay for your order using your mobile phone number associated with this service;
Orders with payment via MB WAY are automatically canceled if not paid within 5 minutes;
Payments via MB WAY do not require sending of proofs;
Debit Card / VISA / MASTERCARD
In each of our stores, we have debit card payment available;
In each of our stores, you can pay with Debit Card, VISA, and Mastercard;
Payment via American Express is not available.
Exchanges and Returns
Macedos Pyrotechnics, Ltd. accepts exchanges or returns within a maximum period of 30 days from the receipt of the order, provided that the items:
Have not been used;
Have the original label;
Are not personalized;
Are in perfect condition for sale, in the original packaging (if applicable).
The customer is responsible for the transportation costs of the exchange or return to our warehouses;
In the event that the exchange or return is due to a shipping error by Macedos Pyrotechnics, Ltd., the customer should contact us to arrange for the collection of the item, with Macedos Pyrotechnics, Ltd. assuming all the costs of the exchange or return;
However, the shipping of replacement item(s) to the customer follows the standard shipping fees for a regular purchase;
The customer should always keep the shipping receipt, as the responsibility lies with the customer until the item(s) are received at our warehouses;
Macedos Pyrotechnics, Ltd. is not responsible for items lost or delayed in transit from the customer to our warehouses;
In the case of an exchange for an item of lesser value, Macedos Pyrotechnics, Ltd. commits to refund the difference (excluding shipping costs);
In the case of a return, only the value of the item(s)
The refund is always made using the same payment method used for the order:
Multibanco: refund by bank transfer;
PayPal: refund to the PayPal account.
Exchanges and returns can be made at our physical facilities at Macedos Pyrotechnics, Ltd.
Complaints
Macedos Pyrotechnics, Ltd. accepts complaints about defects in items after use.
Procedure:
1st - Sending a Complaint
The customer must send us the defective item along with the Return Receipt properly filled out (the transportation costs of the Complaint to our warehouses are the responsibility of the customer);
2nd - Analysis After receiving the Complaint, it will be reported, and the maximum response time to the customer is 1 month;
3rd - Response
Accepted Complaint:
a) If the same item is available, the new item without defects will be sent to the customer;
b) If the same item is not available, the customer will be given the option to exchange or return with a refund.
Rejected Complaint:
a) The customer will be informed of the reasons for the decision, and the item will be sent back to the customer at no additional shipping cost.
Applicable Law
All purchases made on the store.macedos.com.pt website are subject to Portuguese law. Any conflict or disagreement in the interpretation of the General Terms of Sale and Use will be submitted to the competent Portuguese court.
If our customer is outside mainland Portugal, please be informed that any legal process should be forwarded to Portuguese courts.

Legal Notes for the use of Pyrotechnics
According to DL No. 34/2010, pyrotechnic products certified with CE marking and classified as F1, F2, and F3 are considered for free use and sale, provided that the usage rules printed on the product label are followed.
F4 classified products are for professional use and can only be handled by people with specialized knowledge and accredited by the national authority, through a license issued by the police authority in the area.
According to the current legal provisions, in particular, Article 38 of RFACEPE, approved by DL No. 376/84 of November 30, and Article 23 of DL No. 521/71 of November 24, the use of professional pyrotechnic articles (F4), their assembly, or the performance of shows with these articles can only be carried out with prior authorization from the police authority in the area.
